Fibrix Filtration, a provider of specialty high-loft, pleated-media air filtration products backed by Branford Castle Partners, LP, a New York-based private equity firm, announced the acquisition of Americo Manufacturing Company. Americo is a leading producer of floor pads, cleaning accessories, OEM specialty nonwovens and floor mats. The Fibrix Filtration and Americo brands will be owned by the newly renamed holding company, Clean Solutions Group, led by Keith White as President and CEO.
Separately, global nonwovens and wet wipes manufacturer The Albaad Group announced its investment of approximately $67.8 million to expand its eco-friendly nonwovens production line. The company will produce a sustainable fabric made entirely of biodegradable, fully flushable, plastic-free and natural fibers slated for launch in 2023. The move is in line with the company’s ongoing commitment to its sustainability strategy.
