Pentair acquires Pleatco, a water and air filtration supplier for $ 255 million


LONDON – Pentair plc, a provider of water treatment and sustainable solutions, announced on October 18 that it has completed the previously announced transaction to acquire Pleatco (Louisville, KY) for approximately $ 255 million in cash, under reserves the usual adjustments. Pleatco manufactures water and clean air filtration technologies for swimming pool, spa and industrial air customers.

The Pleatco Acquisition provides Pentair with additional replacement filter products that will be sold through Pentair’s existing pool and spa distribution channels as well as Pleatco’s distribution channels. In addition, Pleatco offers complementary air filtration products to meet the needs of Pentair’s industrial customers.
