Dyson V12 Detect Slim with advanced 5-stage filtration technologies launched in India

In India, the Dyson V12 Detect Slim vacuum cleaner was released. The cordless vacuum features new technology designed to identify buried dust as small as 10 microns suitable for deep cleaning in Indian homes. It is incorporated with a piezo acoustic sensor to allow scientific proof of what has been sucked. On top of that, there’s an LCD screen that displays important information like battery, modes, and dust collection.

Dyson V12 Detect Slim was launched in India with a price tag of Rs 58,900. But online it is selling for Rs 55,900. The vacuum cleaner is now available for purchase from the company’s official website as well as via Dyson demo points across the country.

Technical characteristics of the Dyson V12 Detect Slim

Dyson V12 Detect Slim features a Dyson Hyperdymium motor that delivers up to 150 air watts of powerful suction and 5-stage filtration that collects 99.99% of dust particles down to 0.3 microns to powerful deep cleaning.

The new Dyson V12 Detect Slim reveals hidden dust by incorporating a diode laser inside the cleaning head which is precisely positioned at a 1.5 degree angle, 7.3mm from the floor to produce the best contrast between dust and ground. The vacuum can remove particles and meticulously size and count them 15,000 times per second using a piezo acoustic sensor, which converts vibrations into electrical signals and accurately displays the size and number of particles vacuumed on an LCD screen on the back of the vacuum cleaner.

On top of that, the Dyson vacuum’s laser dust technology can verify that your home has been thoroughly cleaned. By incorporating a precise angle inside the cleaning head, laser dust detection exposes particles invisible to the human eye. Dyson V12 Detect Slim uses Dyson’s advanced 5-stage filtration technologies, which capture 99.99% of particles as tiny as 0.3 microns8.

It has been included with a green laser diode – selected for its ability to give the highest contrast – inside the Slim Fluffy cleaning head, precisely positioned at a 1.5 degree angle, at 7.3 mm from the ground. This implies that dust buried on the ground surface can be detected and removed which would otherwise be undetectable to the human eye. The user can quantify the dust they find, then display it on an LCD screen for real-time scientific verification of thorough cleaning.

The vacuum cleaner has an integrated auditory piezo sensor. Carbon fiber filaments in the cleaner head capture microscopic particles, which are then sized and counted up to 15,000 times per second6. Dust enters the vacuum and hits the piezo acoustic sensor inside the bin inlet, converting small vibrations into electrical impulses. The size and amount of dust is displayed on the built-in LCD display, allowing the user to see the amount of dust being cleaned by the vacuum cleaner, as well as the different particle sizes, and providing scientific confirmation of a deep cleaning.

The Dyson V12 Detect Slim is intended to automatically increase the suction force when it comes into contact with a considerable volume of dust. When the piezo sensor detects large concentrations of dust in automatic mode, the responsive suction power is triggered to automatically increase power. Suction power is lowered to its original level when dust levels return to normal. While the tangle-free tapered brush bar that wraps the hair in the bin prevents hair from wrapping around the brush bar.
